About Me

I'm currently a senior at Mount Holyoke College, where I'm pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. I love understanding algorithms and doing web development. Sometimes I try to argue about product design.

Prior to delving in computer programming I was a Neurobiology major. For one whole semester of research, I'd made fruit flies repeatedly climb a test tube.

In my free time, I love to jam on my guiar, learn foreign languages, dine out with friends, and read about anything tech.

How I Got Here

I took my first CS class thinking it'd only help with my biology research. Soon enough, programming has become my main focus. Since May 2014, I have been able to:

  • Develop 2 web applications using AngularJS and Java at Goldman Sachs in New York
  • Debate design choices and create wireframes for many screens at UrbanCare, a local startup in Vietnam
  • Write Python scripts to: 1) clean up database data for my college 2) parse protein data from XML files
  • Undertake teaching assistantship and mentorship for >20 underclass women

... and many more :)
